Pressure-Temperature Rating Lookup

Find maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) for any material grade, pressure class, and operating temperature combination.

200°F540 PSI
300°F520 PSI
400°F490 PSI
500°F410 PSI
600°F320 PSI
700°F160 PSI

How to Use

Select your material grade (e.g., A105 for carbon steel, F316L for corrosion resistance), then choose your pressure class (150 PSI for general use through 2500 PSI for high-pressure applications). The table shows MAWP across standard operating temperatures.

What MAWP Means

Maximum Allowable Working Pressure is the safe pressure limit at a given temperature. Never exceed MAWP for your material and temperature combination. The flange must support both pressure and thermal cycling stresses.

Design Safety Factor

ASME B16.5 applies a design factor of 4 on yield strength. This provides margin for pressure spikes, thermal transients, and fatigue cycling. Design your system at 60-75% of MAWP for operational flexibility.
